Happy Thanksgiving!!!

The holidays are my favorite time of year. It's not even the shopping that makes me love it. There's a feeling that comes with Thanksgiving and Christmas that has been with me since I was little. It's indescribable, instantly recognizable.

A smell, a taste to the air. A happiness that floats over everybody. I love it.

In my hometown, the day after Turkey Day is a big deal. Shoppers Stroll is my favorite event in town. The tree is lit, there's chesnuts and pretzels on grills outside, a parade rolls by, and chowder or hot chocolate is served in the church. It's perfect.

Yes, I realize how quaint my town sounds. I love it.
